  • Health, relationships, and joy are my passions in life. Since 2009, I’ve been involved in the health and wellness field, and I’ve long understood the importance of self-care and stress management.

     

    In 2021, I faced my own health crisis. For several years prior, I had suffered from chronic fatigue, digestive issues, and many other mysterious symptoms that doctors couldn’t identify. As my health progressively declined, I ended up in the hospital, where I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis—an autoimmune condition that affects the protective sheath around the fibres in the brain, body, and spinal cord. I was offered immunosuppressive treatment, which would be lifelong. Something within me knew there was a deeper reason for why I had developed this condition, and I knew that choosing the medical option would not lead me to uncover the true reasons or root cause of my illness. During this time of overwhelming uncertainty, I knew I had a choice to make.

     

     

    Somehow beneath all the uncertainty, I had a deep knowing that this health crisis was happening for me, not to me. I chose to listen to my body and the inner guidance within. This sparked a journey of profound discovery.

     

    What I now refer to as my personal health awakening, became the opportunity to truly listen to and connect with my body. As someone who had lived in their head since childhood, doing everything possible to avoid feeling—through substance misuse, alcohol, food, overworking, and a constant busyness—slowing down and deeply connecting with my body marked the beginning of my true healing. My journey led me down many paths of personal learning and discovery, helping me to understand how trauma, emotional suppression, and unhealthy ways of coping with stress can lead to various illnesses and diseases. The areas where I personally struggled—and where I felt called to dive deeper into my own healing journey—I now share with and teach to others.

     

    Fear and chronic stress not only negatively impacts our immune system and overall health, but also affects the quality of our relationships. Understanding the importance of managing stress and calming the nervous system is vital for wellness and connection. I now work with others helping them to understand their emotions and needs, and to communicate with others with ease. Having learned the importance of having a strong support network, I enjoy bringing people together to share, heal, and learn from one another in a safe and vulnerable way, where they can express their truth safely.

     

    Another part of my healing journey was examining my mindset and the beliefs I had carried about myself, others, and the world. After learning to work with my mindset to move through fears and challenges, I now assist others to gain fresh insights and perspectives on their own challenges, setting them up for success in all areas of their lives.

     

    Through my experiences, I’ve learnt that health and relationships flourish when there are strong, secure connections with healthy open communication amongst people. By adding in the energy of joy I've seen in my life and those that I work with, move from states of overwhelm to peace, and shift from the energy of survival to really thriving in life. As someone who is on the path of consistent learning and self-discovery, as I grow and evolve, I bring fresh new ideas to those that I work with.
